Artillery Park
Artillery Park bears witness to more than two and a half centuries of history in Québec City. Meet with guides to discover the site’s significant military heritage, as well as the often-overlooked contributions of women during the Second World War. Fun for the whole family.
Dauphine Redoubt
This heritage building, dating back to 1712, showcases more than 250 years of military occupation history in Québec City. Discover, among other features, a soldiers’ barracks, a period kitchen, an antechamber, and an officers’ mess!

Forts-and-Châteaux-Saint-Louis National Historic Site

Hidden beneath Dufferin Terrace, the remains of Château Saint-Louis reveal the seat of power of French and British governors from 1620 to 1834. Immerse yourself in more than 200 years of diplomatic relations and alliances, including those with the Huron-Wendat Nation.

Plains of Abraham
The Plains of Abraham combine the beauty of nature in the city with the wealth of a historic past. Immerse yourself in the park’s history with the new temporary exhibition Natura & Historia (starting in June) and the permanent exhibition Battles 1759-1760 at the Plains of Abraham Museum, and the Attention! exhibition at Martello Tower 1. Explore the park with an outdoor escape game or a treasure hunt.
On July 1st, access to the exhibitions at the Plains of Abraham Museum is free. Open from 9 am to 5 pm.
Musée Huron-Wendat
The Huron-Wendat Museum’s mission is to preserve, conserve and make the heritage of the Huron-Wendat Nation accessible to current and future generations through participatory, committed and eco-responsible projects and to raise awareness of the current socio-ecological issues of First Nations peoples. For this reason, its activities, workshops and visits are developed with accessibility in mind. Visit museehuronwendat.ca for more information.
On July 1, the Huron-Wendat Museum is open from 9 am, with the first departure for guided tours at 9:45 a.m. and the last departure at 4 p.m.
Morrin Centre
The Morrin Centre is at the heart of Quebec City’s history. It once housed Quebec’s common jail, the Presbyterian-run Morrin College, and the scholarly activities of the Literary and Historical Society of Quebec (LHSQ). Today, it is home to the city’s main English-language cultural centre and library. The Centre’s mission is to provide the English- and French-speaking public with rich, engaging programming in the areas of heritage interpretation, education, and the arts.
